Came across this editorial for a second time since it came out in 2012, and having trouble understanding why I didn't post it the first time that I saw it?!? The stunning Aymeline Valade poses for Jan Welters in Antidote Magazine's Icons Issue with fashion direction from Yann Weber. Skate park shoots can sometimes come across a little juvenile but this is shot - and - styled to perfection.
And here's the final picks from Paris Fashion Week. Favorite-favorites are definitely Giambattista Valli & Yang Li this season round. Giambattista Valli for the delicate fabrics and beautiful cuts, crops and shapes. And Yang Li for all the amazing edgy looking minimal pieces - and styling that included sneakers #win
Also, high on the accessories must-have list are the Stella McCartney sunglasses, crinkled clutch & a variety of items from Saint Laurent. Other than that I'm loving all the minimal floaty- yet structured pieces coming our way from so many of the fashion houses namely Acne & Felipe OliveiraBaptista. S/S14's looking bright!
Another round up complete (better late than never)! London fashion week faves above, some heart melting stuff at Erdem, Richard Nicoll and Simone Rocha. Enjoying all the lace and sheers fabrics happening in so many of the minimal looks.
So happy to share a shoot that I styled and worked on with a couple of my amazingly talented friends! We embraced some of our favorite bold leathers, patterns, textures and shoes for the season ahead and Julia braved a early fall morning on the Williamsburg waterfront with barely there makeup and fuss free hair. Hope you like it :)
PS. Working with Glen and Julia = dream come true. Julia somehow managed to look incredible despite the freezing early morning start - you're simply the best! And Glen, the amazingly talented man behind the lens. His style, ability to capture fashion details and beautiful candid shots alike, along with his personality makes what we did really not feel like work - thank you, thank you! Can't wait to do it again!
