Suzanne Rae is an amazing Brooklyn-based fashion designer whom I discovered for myself earlier this year. Her designs and aesthetic are the perfect balance of minimal, strong yet feminine, and for lack of a better word, cool. On top of her design skills, she also happens to be a wonderful person who is very open minded, easy going and professional all at the same time. In other words, time with Suzanne (in any capacity), is time well spent!

So you can imagine my surprise and delight when Suzanne asked me to style her SS15 lookbook!? I'm still pinching myself about being lucky enough to be part of the process and am so happy to share some of the results above. It's hard to convey my passion and genuine love for this collection with words only (as that's obviously not my strong point), but I'll try. The minimal silhouettes, the choice of fabric, the ease of wearability and the feeling of luxury is unlike any other. Her choice to have everything made in New York, and the actual practicality of the items (on top of the aesthetics) are just some of the things that should be celebrated about this collection, and brand as a whole.

See the complete lookbook at suzannerae.com, and be sure to check out UNFOLD - a contemporary dance video that showcases some of the pieces and inspiration behind the collection (goosebumps guaranteed).

More power to you girl! x
