RESORT 15: ROUNDUP PART III (FIN)

And finally, really excited about the wider silhouette and soft edginess that's to come our way from both Ellery and A.L.C. in 2015. I'm especially loving the pops of color in both collections' otherwise black and white palettes, which almost make me want to invest in some mustard or baby blue ;) Now, wouldn't that be the ultimate testament of love - buying one of the colorful pieces?! Time will tell I guess... x

RESORT 15: ROUNDUP PART II

McQ Alexander McQueen

Organic By John Patrick

The Row

Tibi

Wes Gordon

Yigal Azrouël

Part II of my roundup brings the slightly more structured and oversized of the Resort 15 favorites. The fact that The Row brought it is no surprise. The fact that they brought it with model Jamie Bochert was a very pleasant surprise indeed. Talk about the best of both worlds coming together! I also really love the color palettes and volume in the Organic by John Patrick, Tibi and the McQ Alexander McQueen collections. Other than that, Wes Gordon and Yigal Azrouël brought some beautiful edgy femininity. Need.

And have to say that I can't count the amount of collections that I've seen Mijo Mihaljcic in this season (as seen in Wes Gordon above). Talk about working hard and killing it!

RESORT 15: ROUNDUP PART I

Acne Studios

Calvin Klein Collection

Derek Lam

Honor

Jason Wu

Maison Martin Margiela

Maiyet

Marios Schwab

Rachel Comey

I love resort. I love everything about resort collections. I love the season-less, year-long-wearability of the pieces and am never disappointed - guess I'm no critic ;) And Resort 15 is looking particularly good. The stand-out items and trends that I see coming our way are; wide pants, neutral hues with pops of pink and red, leathers, and a nod to the 70's. The Acne Studios middle look would have to be one of my favorites of the season, followed by just about everything from Rachel Comey.

Stay tuned, part II coming soon...

SHOOT WITH JUSTIN CHUNG + SADIE

I recently had the good fortune of working with one of the most talented and nicest guys around, photographer Justin Chung. I absolutely loved getting to work on this shoot and chose to style Sadie in minimal, sporty-influenced fashions, using brands like Acne Studios, Zara, Adidas, Wolf Circus7115 by Szeki & Suzanne Rae. Can't wait to do it again, and hope you like xo

#GREATSPACE - SHANGHAI

I'm currently out of town in Canada, in a hotel room nothing like the above (still nice though). But I am really into the interior of this space that's located somewhere in Shanghai, as documented by Rumi of fashiontoast. I've always been a sucker for a see-through-wall situation. Hope to see this one in person one of these days. If anyone knows what this place is called let me know. x
